3rd International Congress on the Responsible Stem Cells Research
Please note that the third International Conference on Responsible Stem Cell Research, scheduled from the 25th to the 28th of April, 2012 has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, the moderate number of sponsors and registrations would have adversely affected the positive outcome of the meetings and, therefore, this prompted the organizers to take the necessary steps to cancel the conference.
The Pontifical Academy for Life, the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation and the World Federation of Catholic Medical Associations (FIAMC) present their apologies for any inconvenience due to this decision.
2st International Congress for Truth and Life
The Second International Congress for Truth and Life will be held from November 3rd to the 6th, 2011 in Sao Paulo (Brazil) promoted by Human Life International.

Workshop “Management of Infertility Today”
During the XVIII General Assembly of Members (23-25 February 2012), a Workshop, open to the public, was held on the topic of: Management of Infertility Today.
Knowing that infertility affects population of both industrialized (15%) and developing countries (9-30%) and considering the suffering it causes to the couples, the Academy for Life challenged the scientists to share their knowledge in looking for new alternatives of treatment that would give more hope to infertile couples.
Scholars chosen from best international experts were encouraged to go beyond the mere management of symptoms to the real treatment of infertility. They were asked to map the current diagnostic and therapeutic options of true causes of infertility, in order to create a stepping-stone on the path toward permanent solutions.
Bioethics Encyclopedia online
Father José Juan Garcia, Corresponding member of the Academy and Professor of Bioethics at the Catholic University of Cuyo (Argentina), informs us of the realization of the project of a Bioethics Encyclopedia online, carrying the values of the encyclical letter Evangelium Vitae of Pope John Paul II.
This Encyclopedia was born out of the need to provide students and teachers at Cuyo's University with an instrument of reference and study , that would be also available to public.
